1901 Narre Warren North
Apparently some private teaching was done early in the Narre Warren area, first by Miss Robinson and Doctor Stephenson. Then Allen conducted a school in a church hall built on his property, ?Rock Allen?. This school transferred to the Wesleyan Chapel where J.R. Frost and then W. Waite were the teachers. The number of Narre Warren North indicates that it opened in 1877. When the railway line came through a centre of population built up at Narre Warren railway station some 4 miles S, so in 1925 the name of the school was changed to Narre Warren North. Early Hts at the school were; William Henry Wooster (1877-79), Alfred A. Lewis (1880-85).
